Climate trend: The 2022 vintage was characterized by an important drought even in winter, confirming a trend that began in 2017. Winter and first spring completely with- out rain. Some rainfall in May, but since the end of June the rains have been almost completely absent and fortunately the summer has passed without fur- ther adverse episodes. A dry harvest, which guaranteed great quality grapes, even if the quantities were particularly low, both due to the lack of water and the damage caused by hail in previous years. Even the months of October and November were exceptionally without rain, which timidly appeared at the end of December and the beginning of January, without however being able to compensate in the slightest for the annual average of rainfall. An excellent year for the wine, a worrying year for the climatic conditions.

Musella’s Wines
Our wines follow an ambitious project, not only because biodynamic, but because we believe that now is the time for the Valpolicella to further exploit its territorial potential, free from market constraints in order to better express all their innate class in purity and taste.
The elegance inherent in traditional varieties is thus considered by us the conceptual center of our wines, the true revelation of a rich and unique nuances and complexities territory, often enhanced with the right depth in the most commercial wines, thus confusing the public perception .
Cherry bark and spice blend in the typical pleasure of Valpolicella wines and find in Musella a sincere interpretation balance, which goes straight to the heart.
