First year of production: 2007 – Demeter certified since 2014

Vineyard: Garganega 100 %

Geographical Location: Veneto – Italy Northeast of Verona, in the hill that divides Montorio from the Valle d’Illasi

Extension: 2 hectares of new shoulder pad

Plant date: Garganega 2007

Composition of the soil: Medium clay dough (white clay) tufa in the Dragon Mountain

Strains per hectare: 6000

Harvest: End of September

Yield per plant: 2 kg.

Climate trend: Winter was regular with a few days of good frost, temperatures below zero are useful for the balance of the agricultural process. The sunny spring with moderate temperatures favored a perfect development of buds and plants, arrived in summer in full health. The hot summer, but not too dry, gave us hope, because until the end of the season it was a perfect Vintage. On August 23, however, a particularly violent meteorological event, which brought strong winds and hail more or less through all the Verona area, definitely affected the quality of the grapes. The conditions after the storm remained good, the plants completed the ripening of the grapes and the final result was more than satisfactory.

Monte del Drago IGT 2015

First year of production: 1997

Vineyard: Corvina 50% and Cabernet Sauvignon 50%

Geographical Location: Veneto – Italy Northeast of Verona, in the hill that divides Montorio from the Valle d’Illasi

Extension: 27 hectares of new shoulder pad

Plant date: Since 1970

Composition of the soil: Calcareous with red clay and tufo

Strains per hectare: 5/7000 to shoulder.

Harvest: From September 3th to October 5rd

Yield per plant: 1 kg.

Climate trend: 2015 vintage was really special and it was characterized by a very
intense light and by the sun, a long lasting summer heat.
Mostly the light depended by the cosmic cycle condition of the sun,
repeating every 15 years and having reached the top this year.
After a mild winter and a regular spring, the strong rain falls in June
brought some hail to a couple of vineyards, but, thanks to the following
dry season we recovered completely and we reached September with
unforgettable grapes: a great year!

Winemaking technique: We harvest the Cabernet sauvignon about one week before the Corvina.
Both grapes are placed in drying, the Cabernet is pressed after two
weeks, while the Corvina is left to dry for three weeks. Separate vinification

Fibio – Pinot Bianco IGT 2018

Vineyard: Pinot Bianco 100%

Geographical Location: Veneto Northeast of Verona, in the hill that divides Montorio from the Valley
d’Illasi

Extension: 1 hectares of modern vertical trellis

Plant date: 2012 Pinot bianco

Composition of the soil: Calcareous with some clay and lot of tufo

Strains per hectare: 6000

Harvest: Middle of August

Yield per plant: Between 0.5 and 1.5 kg

Climate trend: A fairly regular year both in terms of rainfall and seasonal temperatures,
even if summer confirms the drought and heat trend of the
last four years. The very rainy May did not compromise the development
of the plants and the fruits, which after a scarce vintage,
were abundant and the earth managed itself with even a few rains
until the beginning of September, when an abundant precipitation
accelerated the ripening and our harvest times. For the first time
we have increased the harvesting team to ensure the grapes were
picked at a perfect ripening point. The production balance and our
respectful care have allowed us to consider 2018 as an excellent
year.

Winemaking technique: Soft pressing, settling at 12°C by fresh spring water out of the tank.

Geographical Location: Veneto – Italy
North-east of Verona on the hill that separates Montorio from Valle d’Illasi

Extension: 0,3 hectares

Plant date: 2012

Composition of the soil: Calcareous

Strains per hectare: 6000 in trellis

Harvest: First days of September

Yield per plant: 1,5 kg

Vingate climate: A fairly regular year both in terms of rainfall and seasonal temper- atures,
even if summer confirms the drought and heat trend of the last four years.
